Overview
Goodword is a platform that lets you manage your professional network so that you can accomplish and focus on your goals.
Background
Over the summer, I worked alongside the co-founders on a short but intensive project. We focused on developing and shaping the key features that would define the initial version of their product.
Impact
Together, we designed several key screens and components. It was about building the initial version of the product and how we made networking feel natural and genuine.
Takeaways from the process
One recurring lesson across early-stage projects has been that exploration breeds clarity—going wide, both visually and conceptually, consistently leads to a stronger foundation. Even when we simplify later, that early ambition helps sharpen the final product.
I learned how important it is to move fast without losing sight of quality. Instead of trying to make things perfect right away, we focused on getting work out quickly, getting feedback, and improving as we went. Quality still mattered, but we balanced it with speed so we could keep making progress.
